After much responds from the tagboard, it is decided to have a combine outing.

We will have both the glam outing and airport dinner on the same day!!! Wohoo!

Okay here are the details...

Date: 12 September 2009 (Sat)
Dress code for the entire day: Glamy, nice nice de, blink blink oso can.
(Those want to wear flip flop and shorts sorry hor, next time we plan unglam outing okay?)

Part 1: Town/Glam outing
Meet: Somerset MRT
Time: 1 pm (grace period is half hour)
Activities: Window shopping, Movie @ cineleisure or the cathay, Kbox and Optional (Pink hair extension that GLs have it during FO for nexo chalet) lol -.-

Part 2: Airport dinner
Meet: Terminal 3 basement Fountain/playground area
Time: 6.30 pm (grace period is one hour)
Activities: Dinner, airport hide and seek

Thank you all for being so supportive of NEXO NIGHT CYCLING 2009! We were seriously stunned by the overwhelming response, and as we did not prepare for so many people and the things that were going to happen, like the BeerFest at Singapore Flyer, it resulted in the various stops here and there and anywhere, which was quite frustrating.

No matter what, its all over and we really hope you have enjoyed the night cycling as much as we do! Hope that this outing has allowed you to get to know more people you formally did not know existed, and also bonded some of you all even more (though i do not know how so, haha). This post might be very formal and stuff like that, but who cares. We happy can already=)

A number of you have been asking if the outing tomorrow (Saturday, 25th April) is still on.

Well, IT IS!

This is a gna be a peaceful outing!
The plan is to find a place to chill and chit chat =) sounds good eh?
The reason is this. I realised everytime we go out, we hardly sit down as a group and talk!!!
Tomorrow will be a good time to do so!

On the 27th Feb, 27 BRAVE GLs took the courage to go on a night cycling trip together as a NEXOIAN!! That was before freshies came into our life, now once again, let us relive the moments again, and this time, lets go as an EMPIRE, freshies and GLs too!!

Time: 7pm till the next morning (Meet for dinner first!!)

Anyway, I've got important news to inform you all. Michelle and I have been doing on the FBT thing right. It has to be cancelled. Yeah, sadly.

Matthew Ah B**g has kindly have me checked the Queenstown area [Thanks!] and they don't have the lime green and don't know when the stocks can come in. Then Michelle also emailed the FBT main supplier, say the other colours only got curved cutting. And I think quite a few people have a hard time paying up also.

So all we can have now are the sexbands, and t-shirt. How bout whistle & hair extension? Still on right.

Anyway, those who already have paid Michelle will return you the money during OTC refresh 2!

Anyway, Kay called me yesterday and told me that we needed a more prominent identity for our freshies. So he suggested we get them party hats instead of sex bands and i kindda agree. Cos it would give the :ONEXO'SHERE impression. Jiajie told me he has'nt bought the sex bands yet so, we can still get them for ourselves but not for the freshies ya?

We'd be getting the pink ones okay! Kay says he has to place an order for them. It's a dollar each.

After a meeting and discussions with other empire's HGL's weve come up with the colour codes for FOW and FOC! :D
its as followed:

FOW
DAY 1 - WHITE (your own white tee. GLS from all empires will be wearing white too)
DAY 2 - PINK (our smokin' hot empire tshirt)
DAY 3 - BLUE (decided by main comms for us. i think this blue tee is provided)

FOC
DAY1 - BLACK (your own black tee. GLS from all empires will be wearing BLACK too)
DAY2 - BLACK (our cool and happening empire tshirt)
DAY3 - RED(decided by main comms. also should be given to us by them)

And yes i realise we will be wearing black on the first two days of FOC, but we've already discussed and finalised with other empires so unless there are severe objections we shall stick to this okay!

SUB EMPIRE NAMES

Programme has come up with five ideas as names for our Sub-empires! THANKS PROG!
okay FYI there will only be 3 Sub-empires.

People!!

we haven't decide on the colour code for our shirt during OTC refreshment?

Since that time during OTC we wore Yellow colour,
why not this time be yellow too for OTC refreshment?

Note: red, black , green and yellow is all taken by other empire, even yellow too.
Cannot wear white because there might be water games.

If got other suggestion for the colour code for the OTC refreshment, Post it up.
(Because i also think that we taking the same colour with other empire not very nice ah
i wanted to choose pink, blue or orange, but not many people have it.
i hope someone can come out with a better colour code
cause it really crack mine and sylvia brain to think what colour shirt u all will have ><.)
It will be best to settle by thursday night because friday we going for night cycling
then we have bring shirt along with us.

If there is no other suggestion, Yellow is going to be our colour code for the OTC refreshment ok?

For the sex band colour, it will be black and pink (2 black and 2 pink)
It will be 5 Dollars first (read below~)
We will make the purchase first and
the left over amount, we will divide it and return back to each of you with the sexbands
(i know it wont be that expensive, but because we buying for them too)
(so the amount of people will be like 300 PLUS GLs)
(so just pay first, if it is not that expensive then we will return the money ok? >_<)

can u all help to remind each other to bring $5 during chalet?

im here to set the colour for the sex bands eh ( jiajie here)
After exam, Me and kori will go check for the price of the sex bands
and tell u all the price again.

Sunny (Eng) and Zhi yong will be in charge to collect money from you all,
i think we will collect money from you all during Chalet (to be confirmed again)
Most probably, everyone of us will get 4?

I think we will just take 2 colour cause if not very messy
[Because we will end up wearing the colour differently and not very united?]

During the love talk wif our FAs, some stuff was settled. Basically, our colour code for NEXO is pink! =D

1. visible PINK hair extensions~
2. 2 empire shirts
3. same FBTs~( yea, guys are INCLUDED..)

the colours are black, red and lime green
For some of the nexo-ians who couldn't come for the love talk, could you'll please email me your FBT(shorts) and shirts sizes? Also include whether u already have those fbt colours, then don have to buy that colour.

Hi NEXO-ians!!!

Well, the picture above is unique!!

It's visibility depend on your IQ!! The smarter you are, the clearer the picture will be to you! Well, its actually a picture of two cyclists crossing the road, look carefully lah!!

For those who are still in the in midst of having modules that are entitled to papers for the coming semesteral exams, I would like to encourage everyone by forming a study group and start revisions on the 9th of Feb!!! coming monday that is!!! be it from bus, eng, iit, asc, hss, des, if you feel that you have the need to study or do work with a company, join ME in the library daily after 6pm @ level 7 - walk straight and turn left when you exit the lift(big tables area)!!! weekends not included! lol! after revisions we may just hangout at techno for supper yo!
